How long have you been weaving?
I have been weaving for 4 years.

What are your favourite things to weave? Do you have a favourite design or colour?
I love weaving Indumane. It’s my favourite design to create.

Is there something you would like to learn to weave? If so, what?
I would like to learn how to weave larger or more intricate pieces.

Where is your favourite place in Rwanda or around Gisenyi?
I would like to visit Akagera Park.

How has it been working in a community with other ladies?
Being in the community has made a big difference in my life. I no longer feel lonely or sad because I am surrounded by supportive women.

How has the income from weaving helped you?
The income from TAL allows me to pay for my medical insurance (Mutuelle de Santé), and I have also started saving for the future.

What is your biggest dream? Is there something you would really like to achieve in the coming years?
My biggest dream is to learn how to drive a car and one day buy my own house.
